November 27, 2017 - December 1, 2017 Weekly Schedule for ERWC

Monday, November 27th: Your final draft will be due on Monday, December 4th. A letter grade will be dropped for each day it is late. Tuesday, November 28 th : Your final draft is due on Monday, December 4 th . No exceptions! Each day your paper is late there will be a drop in the grade. Please continue working on your research paper. Please refer to the in-depth analysis, comments, and corrections made on your paragraphs in schoology in addition to the analysis, comments, and corrections made on your rough draft in turnitin.com. Wednesday, November 29th:  Continue working on your research paper. The final draft is due this Monday, December 4th. Thursday, November 30th:  Continue working on your research paper. The final draft is due this Monday, December 4th. Friday, December 1st:  Final draft due on Monday, December 4th. Please submit to turnitin.com and to schoology.

Monday, November 6th:  It's Grammar Week! This week is focusing on grammar:   Vocabulary Unit 3, #1 – 10 is assigned and will be due on Wednesday, November 8 th . Assigned today: “How to Revise Run-on Sentences”; it can be found on the test section of schoology. It is the last assignment.  Tuesday, November 7th: Please do exercise 22, #1 – 10, and exercise 23, #1 – 20 Please correct those sentences that have run-ons, using the methods shown. Those sentences that are correct, simply write correct. Then submit to schoology by tonight – maybe…… Comma Splice: It occurs when two sentences are joined together with a comma. A comma cannot join two sentences together. Two sentences can only be joined with a semi-colon (;).
