Despite constituting 11% of the American population, African Americans account for 40% of those involved in the judicial system.  What are the factors which contribute to this disproportionate representation of the African Americans in the American penal and judicial system?

Everything that has been assigned, with the exception of the final two batches of note cards #26 – #30 and #31 - #35, will be due on Friday, October 5^th, at 9:13 a.m.
